For Maaz bin Jabal - may Allah with him - said:

I said: O Messenger of Allah, O my Paradise and takes me away from the fire.

Worship Allah and not associate anything with Him,


And establish the prayer,


And pay the zakat,


The fast of Ramadan,


The pilgrimage to the House) ..


Then he said:


(Not show you the gates of goodness?:


Fasting,


And charity extinguishes sin as water extinguishes fire,


And the prayer of the man of the night)


Then read:


{Forsake their beds, to invoke their Lord in fear and hope, and provided them spend (16) No person knows what is kept hid for them of joy as a reward for what they did (17)}


Sajdah


Then he said:


(Do not tell the whole matter and the head of his column and its topmost part?)


I said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah,


He said: (the matter is Islam, its pillar is prayer, and its top is Jihad)


Then he said: (do not tell you is the foundation of all that?)


I said: "Yes, O Prophet of Allah.


He took his tongue said: (Control this),


I said: O Prophet of Allah, but be held responsible for what we do?


He said: "(your mother be bereft bereft of you, Will people be thrown into the fire on their faces)


- Or he said: (on their noses - but harvest of their tongues).
